The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, constitutes a set of objectives outlined in a universal agreement to eradicate poverty, safeguard the essential elements that render the planet habitable, and ensure that all individuals experience peace and prosperity both now and in the future. These goals were formally adopted by all member nations of the United Nations in 2015 for a period of 14 years from 2016–2030,acknowledging the overwhelming empirical and scientific evidence calling for a significantly more sustainable approach to global development. In appreciation of SDG’s and its practical implementation in proper directives the third edition of the prestigious DM- MUN General Assembly prefers to discuss two major goals to achieve global peace. On day one “Climate Action” will be discussed. On day two, “Peace, justice and strong institutions” is the chosen content. The delegates are expected to resonate all these goals with proper vision with quantifiable evidence, accurate policy decisions, with more scientificity and broader outlook to accomplish global peace. It is our collective responsibility to act decisively and ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of these global aspirations.
